Elie also feels that much of his and his teams time is spent on report writing. If they could get a digital soluation to help generate these it would mean more time spent on patient consultations.

Competitive Analysis

In conducting a competitive analysis of other practice management software apps, including POWERDIARY, ClinicSense, Vagaro, CliniKo and Nookal. I focused on key features such as usability, security, and integration capabilities for appointment scheduling and patient management. I reviewed user feedback and gathered valuable insights from their reviews. This qualitative data revealed common pain points:

Users are interested in a range of features, including a patient portal, electronic payment options, scheduling capabilities, and SMS reminders, in addition to note-taking and storage functionalities.

Users seek exceptional customer service and comprehensive helpdesk support.

SMS add-ons are costly; integrating this feature into the core plan would be highly beneficial, as it is a standard component of a well-rounded healthcare service offering.

Users are requesting the ability to select their own appointment time slots and to block out specific time slots as needed.

Offering customisable options for note-taking, including font size, style, color, and highlighting, is a feature users are requesting.
